Get Paid After Your Shift with NurseIO and branch
NurseIO is excited to create a better payments experience and introduce Branch. We will now offer the Branch Wallet and Business Card*, a digital wallet backed by a fee-free business checking account and Mastercard business debit card that gives you easy ways to send, spend, and save your money. With Branch, you can transfer funds for free using an ACH transfer to another bank account (transfer takes 3-5 business days) or you can instantly transfer funds to another debit card for a small fee ($2.99 minimum, or 2% of the transfer amount).
What is Branch?
Branch offers a digital wallet (Branch Wallet) and business debit card (Branch Business Card). The Branch Wallet is backed by an FDIC-insured, fee-free business checking account from Evolve Bank & Trust.
Transitioning to Branch
We’re excited to make this transition, with the goal of having all healthcare professionals moved to Branch by June 28, 2023. Nurseio payments will be made onto Branch starting June 28, 2023.

How Do Payments work?
The following steps are needed to get paid after each shift
Click
Click on My Shifts, pull up the shift in which you want to submit hours, enter your time then click submit hours!
Sign Off
At the end of your shift, your staff nurse needs to sign off on the hours that you have completed.
Payments
Starting June 28, 2023, payments will be sent directly to your Branch Wallet upon shift approval. A Branch Wallet will be required to receive your payouts.

Branch offers a digital wallet (Branch Wallet) and business debit card (Branch Business Card). The Branch Wallet is backed by an FDIC-insured, fee-free business checking account from Evolve Bank & Trust. NurseIO has partnered with Branch to pay out earnings via the Branch Wallet.
You can spend funds from the Branch Wallet using your account and routing number; with your virtual card that can connect to Apple Pay / Google Pay or be used for online purchases; or through the Branch Business Card, a free Mastercard business debit card. You can also transfer your NurseIO payouts from your Branch Wallet to another bank account.
You can keep your existing Branch account and card. You’ll just need to add NurseIO to your account by following these steps:
1. Login to your Branch account
2. Visit the account tab (bottom right)
3. Tap your workplaces > manage workplaces > add
Type in “NurseIO” and select it from the dropdown list
4. Passcode is: “nurseio”
Starting June 28, 2023, all healthcare professionals will receive their NurseIO payments after each shift through the Branch Wallet, a fee-free digital wallet replacing Stripe Connect. A Branch Wallet will be required to receive your payouts.
If you already picked up shifts through NurseIO in the past you will receive a text message and email from Branch with a personal link to claim your account.
If you’re new to NurseIO or have not picked up a shift in the last 180 days, click “Branch App: Action Required” in the “Rates & Payments” tab during the onboarding process. You will then be redirected to the App Store or Google Play Store to download the Branch App. Sign up using the same information as your NurseIO account and agree to the terms and conditions to start receiving your payouts as soon as they’re available.
Once you’ve signed up for Branch, you’ll automatically receive your NurseIO payments through the Branch Wallet starting June 28, 2023.
The Branch Business Card is a free Mastercard debit card that you can use to spend funds from your Branch Wallet. You can order your personalized Branch Business Card by tapping Get Started once you agree to terms and complete your registration. The card should arrive at your home address within 7-10 business days. While you wait for the physical card to arrive, you can use your virtual card with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Adding your Branch Business Card to Apple or Google Pay will allow you to make contactless purchases using your phone. To enable this feature, tap the 3 dots on the top right corner of the card displayed to open the Card Controls menu, then tap Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Pay. Follow the instructions from there and verify your card using the phone number on your account.
The Branch Business Card is a business debit card from Mastercard. As an independent contractor, you can hold up to $250,000 in your account. As long as you have the funds available in your account, you can spend $5,000 per day and up to $5,000 per transaction using your Branch Business Card. In addition, you can spend up to $30,000 per month. These limits apply to typical purchases, and do not include transfers out of your account or ATM withdrawals.
Click the Move Funds option in the Branch Wallet to transfer funds from Branch to an external account. You can transfer funds instantly for a small fee by selecting the Debit card option, or you can transfer funds for free using the Another bank option. Free transfers process via ACH and take 3-5 business days.
At this time, the limit on instant debit card transfers is $1,000 per day.
The fee for instant transfers is $2.99 minimum, or 2% of the transfer amount.
The limit for free bank transfers is $5,000 per day, and no monthly limit applies at this time.
Yes. Your Branch Wallet is a business checking account, so you can set up direct deposits from other companies using your account and routing number, which are displayed in the app after sign up.
Branch users are eligible for free Allpoint ATM transactions at over 55,000 Allpoint ATM locations. Allpoint ATMs are conveniently found in popular retailers—places you already know, love and shop every day. You can find your closest Allpoint ATM through the Move Funds menu in the app, or by clicking here.
The best way to pay your bills using your Branch Wallet online is to provide your connected Branch Business Card number to your biller. If your biller does not support getting paid via debit card, then you may provide your Branch Wallet account and routing number to them.
Note: you should have the capability to pay manually via the biller website or set up auto pay, although these options may vary.
If you believe your card is lost or stolen, we urge you to first lock the card. Open your Branch Wallet, tap the 3 dots on the upper right corner of the black debit card and tap Lock Card. From there, you can select to order a replacement card. A new personalized card will be shipped to your home address within 7-10 business days.
